During the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen their collaboration to provide consumers with information to reduce their ecological footprint. The Minister presented the initial findings of the online carbon footprint calculator myImpact.lu, launched in November 2023 and already used by almost 5,000 people to calculate their personal carbon footprint. For its part, Klima-Agence has pledged to promote the tool among local authorities, underlining its commitment to supporting all players in society in their transition to a more climate-friendly economy.

The Directorate for Consumer Protection and Klima-Agence are committed to working together to offer consumers practical advice and innovative solutions to help them adopt a responsible lifestyle. This collaboration aims to promote responsible consumption by actively contributing to the preservation of resources.
