Martine Hansen visits the "Autorité de la Concurrence"

Martine Hansen, Minister for Consumer Protection, visited the "Autorité de la Concurrence" to exchange views with the aim of strengthening consumer protection.

After a detailed presentation of the institution’s activities by its president, Pierre Barthelmé, particularly on the role of the "Autorité de la Concurrence" in the context of the ‘Digital Services Act’ and the ‘Digital Market Act,’ the discussions focused on the potential expansion of existing collaborations. It was agreed that a collaboration agreement will be drafted between the two institutions, and work meetings have already been scheduled in the coming weeks, with the common goal of strengthening consumer protection.
