The roles and responsibilities of the Ministry are defined by the Grand Ducal Decree regarding the organisation of the Government.
On October 15, 2021, the Chamber of Deputies proceeded to vote on Bill 7456 with a view to implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 12, 2017 on cooperation between national authorities responsible for ensuring the application of consumer protection legislation.
In order to promote exchanges between professionals in the sector, in particular on the specific needs of children suffering from a food allergy, the Government's Office for Quality, Fraud and Food Safety took advantage of the start of the 2021 school year to organize a conference on the issue of food allergies in the children's sector.
